The Unfettered Mage
Taken from her home planet of Earth, Ruth was a slave of the merciless Insectoids until the trauma and desperation of her plight, and threats to her son and grandson pushed her into a transformation not seen for millennia.
The Archmage Ruth is the first Unfettered Mage in millennia. She is both powerful and fragile due to the act that broke her connection to the planet of her birth. Her existence is maintained by her Anchor, Lord Pawlik Borach, a noble from the planet Arkken.
Mage Guard Uniform Patch
The Mage Guards are Archmage Ruth's special protection and response team. Selected from the most skilled of the beings that have sworn to Lord Pawlik and Ruth, they possess highly skilled contributions to whatever strategy and action needed to keep the Mage safe and the people that look to her secure.
The series is set in a universe that is very similar to ours but with the presence of magic. This is part of the techmage genre, where technology and magic mix. This display should show at the top with the label of "Background" in bold and above the description.
The World of Arkken - Settled Areas
This is the map of Arkkhen, the new home of the Unfettered Mage, Archmage Ruth. It shows the major landmasses and some of the locations of the major holdings. The world has been settled for a long time, but much of the ecosphere is highly dangerous for people. As such, there are only a limited number of landmasses that have been settled and claimed.
A lengthy story arc is planned for this series, with a wide expanse of short stories and novels.
